Share a Story About My Purse

I remember my story about my purse until now though it happened years ago. From that experience I learn that everyone should be honored whether he is rich or not.

It was a rainy day. My mother and I went shopping after lunch. As some guests would come to my home that night, we had to go to the market to buy some fresh vegetables. When we were walking at the street, a man in dirty clothes called out at us and asked us to buy his vegetables. A little boy was standing next to him and looked at us shyly. My mother and I stopped and decided to buy some cabbages of that man. When choosing some vegetables, I asked the men if the boy was his son .The men smiled and said: “yes, he is 7 already and it is time for him to go to school. But the tuition is so expensive to afford. I need to work hard now to pay for his tuition”.

After we paid, we left with the cabbages we just bought. Unfortunately, It was not until I arrived home that I realized that my purse was lost. What’s worse, my money and credit cards are all in the purse. I ran back to the market hurriedly because I remembered I lost it where we bought the cabbages. What made me frustrated was that the men who sold vegetables had gone.

Depressed, I went home. I thought I would never got my purse and my money back because that men was lacking of money to pay for his son’s tuition. And it was unlikely that he would return my purse to me though he really picked it up. Besides, he was poor men in dirty clothes. So happy would he be if he could get so much money a day without working so hard. Thinking so, I couldn’t help cursing that man in my mind.

To my surprise, my mother called me at that time and gave me my purse. She told me that the men hurried to find us as soon as he saw my purse. I opened my purse and found that nothing was lost. I was so grateful that I wanted to say thanks to him on my own, but my mother said that he had gone.

They are poor but very honest. We should not identify whom with their clothes and property.
