The Two Senna Tribute Watches of Hublot King Power
The King Power is a portfolio that houses those F1 racers’ watches of Hublot with the timepiece King Power F1 being the exact piece celebrating the event – Hublot’s becoming F1’s Official Watchmaker. The two Senna tribute watches, the Ayrton Senna and the Tourbillon Ayrton Senna, naming after the great F1 racer Ayrton Senna, which were unveiled in the Brazilian Grand Prix, naturally become part of the King Power collection. They are two magnificent timepieces that tribute to the exciting F1 race event.
The Hublot King Power Ayrton Senna
As one’s expectation of a F1 racer’s watch goes, this piece applies cutting-edge materials, with carbon fibre as the materials for the case and the bezel while with titanium for the screws. Measured in 48mm, the carbon fibre case houses a matt black carbon dial with yellow markers and yellow hands. To better incorporate the F1 inspired themes, seven colored dots (one in red, two in blue and the rest in green) are served as the power reserve indicator. The sapphire crystal face is stamped in the left with Ayrthon Senna’s signature in yellow which quite goes with the makers under the whole boldly dark theme of the piece. Powered by the Hublot Calibre HUB4247, the wristwatch functions Split Seconds Chronograph. The Nomex and rubber strap is quite a finishing point to the watch.
The Hublot King Power Tourbillon Ayrton Senna
Only 10 pieces of this tourbillon Ayrton Senna were produced, with each engraving on the caseback one career achievement in Ayrton’s life. The dial design of this piece is very complicated with three apertures showing the axis and escapement. The yellow strap with thick blue and green stitching of this piece is very eye catching.
